Gift card operator
The Sheffield Gift Card is operated by Sheffield’s Business Improvement District (Sheffield BID). The legal entity is Sheffield City Centre BID Limited (company no. 09601967, whose registered office is No. 1 Velocity 2 Tenter Street, Sheffield, England, S1 4BY).
The Sheffield Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. It cannot be exchanged for cash. Orders can only be delivered to a UK address. The Gift Card can only be redeemed at participating businesses in Sheffield city centre. (Where to spend)
Gift cards are supplied in a branded gift card holder which the purchaser can add a personal message to upon receipt. Customers asking for a gift card to be shipped directly to a recipient may include a personal message in the “order notes” field.
Please note that any order placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be processed on the same day. Orders placed after 2pm Monday to Friday will be processed on the next working day. Orders are not processed over the weekend or on Bank Holidays.
We do not charge administration fees or postage.
Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail (2nd class post unless otherwise stated). Please allow 3-4 working days for delivery.
Click and Collect
For orders placed Monday to Friday before 2pm, these can be collected from Unit 1, Surrey Street, next to The Winter Garden from 11.30am on the next working day. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be processed Monday and available for collection after 11.30am Tuesday. Unit 1 is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm (7pm Thursday) and 11am to 4pm Sunday.
Cards lost in transit
If you have not received your Gift Card please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will endeavour to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.
Sheffield BID complies with data protection legislation. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and retain a solicitor to advice on data protection. Our policies are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.
Customer service and operational updates
In line with the existing ePrivacy Directive, we will use your personal information as an existing customer to keep you informed about our services through email communications relevant to content on the website or to keep you informed of relevant changes to the service, which may also include planned outages and operational changes to the website or changes to our order processing. If you do not want to receive such communications, please inform us at email@example.com. You will also be able to unsubscribe through the emails you receive.
We may also use your personal data to keep you informed of relevant promotions and similar products which you may be interested in. If you do not want to receive such marketing communications, please inform us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will also be able to unsubscribe through the emails you receive.
What are my rights?
Once you have provided us with your data it is stored, processed and retained in accordance with our policies to provide you with the service you have requested. You can apply for a copy of your data at any time by contacting the Data Protection Officer at email@example.com. We will comply with any current data legislation by adopting reasonable methods of checking your identity and providing you with such data as you are legally entitled to within appropriate timescales.
